The BC Lions proudly introduced their new 'Pacific Frost' uniform today, June 3, 2026, marking a significant update to the team's official away look. This fresh design will become the club's permanent road uniform and is slated for its first appearance during the regular season opener on Saturday, June 13, when the Lions face Saskatchewan.

The 'Pacific Frost' uniform features a crisp white jersey accentuated with silver and orange numbers, complemented by metallic silver pants and helmets. The aesthetic is deeply rooted in British Columbia's distinctive natural environment, drawing inspiration from its majestic mountains, pristine snow, abundant rain, and iconic coastal vistas. The white base of the uniform symbolizes BC's snow and glaciers, while the metallic silver elements evoke the stark, cold steel tones of winter skies and rugged mountain terrains.

Beyond its contemporary design, the 'Pacific Frost' look also serves as a tribute to the franchise's rich history. The team previously sported silver helmets and pants during two of its most memorable Grey Cup triumphs. This nod to the past connects current players with legendary alumni such as Lui Passaglia, Geroy Simon, Brent Johnson, and the Flutie brothers, who all wore silver during their careers.

The BC Lions organization stated that the uniform was engineered to convey a sense of speed, coolness, and relentless determination. It stands as a modern interpretation of the natural elements that define the province and signifies a return to the team's origins, having been named after the distinctive Lions peaks overlooking Vancouver.
