The Burke Mountain Naturalists (BMN) have announced their June meeting will be an outdoor nature walk around Como Lake, taking place on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM. This event will serve as the month's regular meeting, offering an opportunity for community members to engage with local nature.

Participants are invited to enjoy an evening stroll around the lake, learning about the diverse flora and fauna present in the area. The walk will also highlight BMN's ongoing efforts to remove invasive plant species from the north end of Como Lake.

Attendees are instructed to meet in the north parking lot near the public washrooms at 700 Gatensbury Street in Coquitlam. This event provides a chance for BMN members and the general public alike to socialize and connect with nature.
