Overview

Ring in Canada's birthday at Port Coquitlam's biggest free community celebration! Canada Day at Castle Park returns on July 1 from 1:00pm until the grand finale fireworks display after dark. Bring your family, friends, beach chairs, and blankets for a full afternoon and evening of complimentary entertainment, food vendors, and activities for all ages.

The entertainment lineup features Cookin' With Brass (1pm), Carmelina Cupo, Daniel Wesley, and Whiskey Blind before Canadian rock icons April Wine take the stage at 7:05pm, followed by Owen Riegling at 8:45pm and fireworks at 10:15pm. Earlier in the day: Lions Club Pancake Breakfast at PoCo Community Centre (8:30–11:30am, $7), free drop-in basketball and lacrosse (9:30–11:30am), and a Fishing Derby at Lions Park (8–11am). Fountain Shows at Leigh Square at 7pm and 9:30pm.
