Overview
Celebrate Canada Day with a full day of family-friendly festivities in Port Coquitlam! The free community celebration features live entertainment, food vendors, a beverage garden, market vendors, and a spectacular fireworks finale after dark. Additional activities include a pancake breakfast, fishing derby, and free drop-in sports.
Date: Wednesday, July 1, 2026
Time: Multiple events throughout the day (8am – dusk; main celebration at Castle Park 1pm – dusk)
Good to Know
Pancake Breakfast at Port Coquitlam Community Centre: 8:30–11:30am ($7, hosted by Lions Club — two mini pancakes, two sausages, and a juice box or coffee)
Free Drop-in Basketball & Lacrosse at Port Coquitlam Community Centre: 9:30–11:30am (bring your own basketball)
Fishing Derby at Lions Park: 8–11am
Main celebration at Castle Park: 1pm – dusk (free admission)
Grand finale fireworks display after dark
