COQUITLAM, BC — Local gymnastics facility Club Aviva will commemorate four decades of operations with a 40th-anniversary gala on Wednesday, September 30. Titled "A Night to Move You," the event will take place at The Show Theatre within the Great Canadian Casino, located at 2080 United Boulevard.

The upcoming gala will recognize the organization's 40-year history of providing accessible gymnastics programming and fostering an inclusive environment for athletes and individuals with support needs. The evening's programming is designed to celebrate the achievements of youths and community members who have participated in the facility's programs over the past four decades.

The cocktail-attire event will begin at 5:00 p.m. with an opening reception featuring canapés, followed by formal opening remarks at 6:00 p.m. Attendees will then be served a Pacific Dinner Buffet, which includes vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options, accompanied by on-stage entertainment from 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.

A brief awards presentation is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. to recognize specific achievements within the Club Aviva community. From 7:30 p.m. onward, the evening will transition to dancing and the announcement of winners for the gala raffle and silent auction. Throughout the night, guests will also have access to a dedicated candy bar.
