Overview
The Cocktail Concerts summer series heats up with an evening of Latin music featuring Locarno — the acclaimed project of JUNO Award-winning musician Tom Landa. Born and raised in Mexico City, Landa blends his Mexican roots with Canadian sensibilities, drawing on Son Jarocho tradition and the jarana to create music that is equal parts Latin fire and folk warmth. Opening act El Balcon kicks off the evening, with the cocktail hour beginning at 6:30 PM in the beautiful glassed-in lobby.
