Overview
One of the most magical free events of the holiday season is rolling back into communities across Canada and the United States — the CPKC Holiday Train! Each year, a spectacular train adorned with thousands of dazzling lights travels the CPKC rail network, stopping to deliver free live music concerts and raise money and food for local food banks. Since its first journey in 1999, the Holiday Train has raised over $28 million and collected approximately 5.6 million pounds of food for communities in need. Watch for the 2026 stop schedule — you won't want to miss this one!

Free to attend — no tickets required.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a monetary donation or non-perishable food item for the local food bank.
CPKC donates directly to the local food bank at each stop along the route.
