Geoff Tate, the legendary frontman of Queensrÿche, brings his celebrated Operation: Mindcrime – The Final Chapter to The Show Theatre at Great Canadian Casino Vancouver. With Tate at the forefront, Queensrÿche became internationally recognized as the definitive philosophers of the rock genre, combining social consciousness and expertly crafted lyrics with high-energy, melodically complex music.
The band's landmark concept album Operation: Mindcrime was a masterwork of ambition that shattered genre expectations, earning both critical adoration and high-praise comparisons to The Who's Tommy and Pink Floyd's The Wall. The multi-platinum follow-up Empire featured the Grammy-nominated hit "Silent Lucidity," and a historic performance of the track at the 1992 Grammy Awards was delivered alongside a full orchestra.
This cinematic concert experience features a string section and specialized laser light show, specifically designed to celebrate the legacy of the original 1988 album – and serves as a bridge to the long-awaited studio release of Operation: Mindcrime III.
