Swiss-Ecuadorian brothers Estevan and Alejandro Gutiérrez bring their Los Ojos del Condor Tour to Vancouver, with support from Y La Bamba. Over a decade and six albums, Hermanos Gutiérrez have spun instrumental gold with their intricately intertwined guitars, commingling Latin sounds, surf music, western flourishes, and melancholia. Their new album, produced with Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys at Easy Eye Sound in Nashville, draws deeply on South American roots — from Ecuadorian heritage to Andean mountain culture, Argentinian milonga, and Peruvian-Colombian cumbia.
