COQUITLAM, B.C. — Local artists, makers, and craftspeople are putting the finishing touches on their latest masterpieces ahead of the highly anticipated Dogwood Visual Arts Show and Sale, returning to Coquitlam this June.

Presented by the Dogwood Pavilion Seniors' Society in partnership with the City of Coquitlam, the two-day community event will transform the Dogwood and Centennial Pavilions into a bustling marketplace of creativity on the weekend of June 20 and 21, 2026.

Attendees can expect to explore a diverse and impressive array of handmade goods and artwork. The exhibition will feature unique works from several specialized artisan groups based out of the Dogwood Pavilion, including the Photography Club, Dogwood Designs, Still Crafting, the Rocks and Gems Lapidary group, Woodworking, and the Art Club.

The Dogwood Pavilion operates as a vibrant social and recreation center for adults aged 50 and older. This annual show offers its members a celebrated platform to display the impressive skills they've honed through the center’s various programs while connecting with the broader Tri-Cities community.

In addition to browsing the marketplace, visitors will be treated to free live demonstrations by the artisans, offering a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at their creative processes—from woodworking to lapidary arts.

Organizers have prioritized accessibility to ensure a welcoming environment for all attendees. Admission to the show is entirely free, and the venue offers complimentary parking as well as easy bus access for transit riders. Onsite beverages and snacks will also be available for purchase to keep shoppers fueled throughout the weekend.
