Experience the intimate beauty of South and Central Asian classical music at Evergreen Cultural Centre's Mehfil Series. Afghan vocalist and composer Aqil Sharifi leads an immersive evening of raga, Kharabat repertoire, and Persian ghazals, accompanied by Gurjit Sikri on sitar and Hriday Buddhdev on tabla. Presented by The Bandish Network and curated by cultural arts specialist Nina Buddhdev, this deeply rooted mehfil gathering celebrates the living heritage of Indo-Persian musical traditions through melody, poetry, and improvisation in an intimate setting.
