Overview
The Open Air Performance Series welcomes Pat Chessell, a Vancouver-based folk artist whose music blends Celtic tradition, roots storytelling, and contemporary songwriting into a sound that is both timeless and deeply personal. A Canadian Folk Music Award nominee for Traditional Singer of the Year, Chessell is known for his powerful rhythm guitar and warm stage presence. He has shared the stage with Jim Byrnes, The Paperboys, and Sharon Shannon, and served as Artist in Residence for the City of North Vancouver in 2024.
