Overview

Metro Vancouver's seasonal water-use restrictions come to an end on October 15, 2026. These annual Stage-based restrictions, in place each summer to protect the region's drinking water supply, are lifted each year on October 15 as cooler and wetter fall weather reduces outdoor water demand. Residents in Port Coquitlam and across Metro Vancouver can resume normal outdoor watering and water use once restrictions are lifted.
