VANCOUVER, B.C. — The Rotary Club of Vancouver’s Hearing Foundation is set to host the 2026 Rotary Ride for Hearing on June 14, 2026. The annual cycling fundraiser aims to generate financial support for medical care and resources for children and adults living with hearing disorders.
The upcoming event will feature two distinct cycling routes designed to accommodate different age groups and athletic abilities. Experienced cyclists have the option to register for the 100-kilometer Main Ride, which is structured as a nine-loop course. Additionally, the event includes a 7.5-kilometer Family Ride, intended for children, families, and casual riders.
Proceeds from the ride will directly support the foundation’s ongoing medical initiatives. The Rotary Club of Vancouver’s Hearing Foundation has operated for over 40 years, maintaining a focus on treatments for hearing loss. The organization’s historical milestones include funding Canada’s first-ever cochlear implant surgery in 1982. Since its inception, the foundation has facilitated more than 770 surgeries and committed $6 million to patient care and related medical advancements.
In conjunction with the event, organizers have released an official 2026 cycling jersey, designed in collaboration with Mill Cycling. The jersey is available for participants and supporters to order until April 15.
Registration for riders, as well as opportunities for non-participants to sponsor a cyclist or volunteer, are currently open through the official Rotary Ride for Hearing website.
