A senior citizen who was critically injured in a vehicle-ramming incident in Vancouver's West End on May 15 has succumbed to their injuries on May 24, the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) confirmed today. The victim's death has led police to notify Crown counsel, with evidence now being submitted for consideration of additional charges against the alleged perpetrator.

Thirty-four-year-old Tadd Bali remains in custody. He was previously charged with four counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm in connection with the incident.
