COQUITLAM, B.C. – The City of Coquitlam has announced the return of its highly anticipated School's Out Pass, providing an excellent opportunity for children and teenagers up to 18 years old to enjoy unlimited drop-in activities at Coquitlam's pools and recreation centers during school holidays. Priced at just $25, the pass is valid for an extended period from June 26, 2026, to March 29, 2027.

Sales for the School's Out Pass are set to begin on Monday, June 1, 2026. This pass covers major upcoming school breaks, including Summer 2026 (June 26 to Sept. 7), Winter 2026-2027 (Dec. 19 to Jan. 3), and Spring 2027 (March 13 to March 29).

Pass holders will have access to a wide array of activities, such as public swimming at both indoor and outdoor pools, drop-in skating, and various drop-in sports including basketball, badminton, and volleyball. Youth aged 13 to 18 can also utilize fitness centers and participate in drop-in fitness classes; however, those between 13 and 15 years old are required to complete a fitness orientation prior to participation.

In addition to the School's Out Pass, Coquitlam continues to offer a variety of other low-cost or free summer activities. Ten free spray parks and a wading pool are now open, and the Eagle Ridge Outdoor Pool and Mundy Park Pool will open on May 30 with a $2 admission fee for all ages.
