Indian Summer Festival kicks off with a bang as viral comedy sensation Vidura Bandara Rajapaksa makes his Vancouver debut on the opening night of his multi-continental Paradise Gothic Tour at the Vancouver Playhouse. With over 1 million followers online and the beloved comedy special Woodapple Jam to his name, Vidura brings sharp, darkly funny storytelling that digs into immigration, radical Buddhism, and the absurdities of modern capitalism. The evening also features Canadian comedy legend Charlie Demers and genre-defying musician Piu — making this a truly multi-faceted night of arts.
