Overview
Violinist Blake Pouliot — described as "one of those special talents that comes along once in a lifetime" (Toronto Star) — joins Maestra Gemma New and the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra for an unforgettable evening of orchestral brilliance. The program features Tchaikovsky's radiant Violin Concerto, one of the most beloved in the repertoire, alongside Elgar's mysterious Enigma Variations and Ravel's touching Le tombeau de Couperin, a memorial to friends lost in the First World War.
